...swimming on a monocromatic perfum

Colortherapy is a site specific action, realised in the surroundings of Hangar, Center of Production of Visual Arts Barcelona, during the week of "Arquiset 08-New ways of arquitecture".

An old hangar is hacked to generate a new dialog between light and sound. The architecture of this abandoned place comes to life by the use of new technologies, free software and human minds.

All the dark space is filled with the interaction between light, sound and the visitor. By moving trough the installation the visitor triggers different sound and light sources, allowing him to experiment with the feelings that different atmospheres create. At the end of the location a small room is totally filled with smoke where participants can get lost in a deep space of color, generating an unique sensation of deepness through the properties of light. The perception of a changing space generates a cognitive vision, where the different senses are altered by the new medium. Body and mind immerse in the psychological qualities of color.

This work was supported by Hangar, Philips and Arquiset.
